Evergreen Collections designer Carol Fails sees a rich boldness emerge from each piece she creates, honing it until it strikes just the right note. “I want your piece to make an impression on the person wearing it, not just the people seeing it,” she explains. “I want it to feel right with your jeans but also your favorite little black dress, to make the outfit because it expresses who you are.” After years of designing her signature pieces, Fails has developed a deep appreciation for the materials she works with and is highly attuned to what does and doesn’t translate.
